Biography
Colleen Galgay has spent 28 years working in a variety of roles within the education system. She has served on numerous boards and committees which has helped develop her strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Election Priorities
Now, more than ever, our public education system needs a strong,
collective voice as we fight for a well resourced K-12 system for all
teachers and students. As your NLTA Vice-President for 2025-2027,
I will commit to ensuring that all teachers voices are heard. I have a
wide perspective on all educational issues and I will be responsive to
your needs.
My priorities include:
- Teacher morale and wellness
- Safety for all members of our school community
- Discussions regarding the Inclusion Model and ways to improve it
- Smaller class sizes based on composition and need
- Teacher recruitment and retention
- Improvement of Professional Learning for teachers
